Was GREAT to get wet in the Caribbean again! Arrived on the Carnival Cruise Line "Valor" and took the Shallow Dive Shore Excursion. The divemaster met us on the pier and guided us to the water taxi. Got our spec's (shoe, BC, weight) and hauled us to the dive shop where our boat was waiting - with our gear laid out! Took a 15 minute ride to the other side of Fort Amsterdam Point to the dive site.

Upon arrival, Cher, Mike (another certified diver) and I were allowed to dive when we wanted while the divemasters took down 12 Discover SCUBA people. So we went down... for 1.25 hours!

The floor was a normal generic floor - lots of plantlife, urchins, etc. Did bump into 6 different wrecks, a truck frame and 3 cannons from the fort above... was quite enjoyable!

Took 64 pictures - they can be seen by clicking here
