What a trip! Lots of tropicals, anenomes, jellyfish chains, puffers, balloons, urchins (ouch!), crabs, sand rays and even sea horses! Dive shop was nice, package for 4 2-tank dives was $47.00 per dive ($188.00 total including $10.00 off for own equipment and $6.00 off for own transportation to the dock). Small skiff (8 divers), rough seas. Surge EVERYWHERE (kinda fun!). Numerous dive sites. Dive operators Ixtapa Aqua Paradise speak English, won't rent only tanks and weights. Divemasters were quite attentive and changed out gear for you - all you had to do was have your wetsuit and weights on. 2-2 tank dives takes from 9:00 am - around 5:00 p.m. Not much English spoken here. Zihuatanejo is more old Mexico, Ixtapa is modernized and resort oriented.
