I'm a fairly new diver. I just got my Open Water certification in July of 2004 and at the time totally hated it. But having spent the money for the class, I was darned-well going to get through the course. Then a month later I went to Fiji on a diving trip with friends and after the first dive I was completely hooked. Since then, (through the end of 2006), I've logged around 75 dives. I usually try to take a course each year to improve my diving, so I have completed the Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver courses. I've dove in Fiji, the Florida Keys, Roatan, Hawaii, Belize and in early 2007 I am going to dive Cozumel. Although it is hard to choose, my favorite diving so far was in Fiji.
