Last month's meeting (Feb) we had a viewing of the DAN DVD "I May Be Bent...Now What?" and a presentation by Ron Schneider about his experience with DCS. Attendance was 16.

Blue Heart Dive:

Just want to get a feel on a trip to Blueheart. Is this something the members want to do again this year?

Tonights Presentation:

Ken McKay gave a presentation on Ice Diving. Ken had an awesome presentation on Ice Diving in Payette Lake. His slides showed how to prepare a dive site, techniques, equipment, and what it is like under the ice. Ken's commentary was informative, humorous, and engaging. He showed that it doesn't really take any special diving equipment but mostly technique and procedures. About the only equipment needed are a special safety harness and a couple hundred feet of rope.
