Meeting of 7/13/04

The meeting was called to order at 7:10 p.m. at Perkins on Fairview. Arnie went over the nights agenda.

Earl did a recap on the Lake Harbor Cleanup. Channels 7 and 2 interviewed Dirk Spackman and Kim Juda for their newscasts. Earl also displayed the banner and stated the purchase amount ($150.00) and proposed that the club vote on either: A $150.00 free spending cap (per occurrence) on the officers; A $100.00 free spending cap (per occurrence) on the officers; or leave the clubs money sit. A voting booth will be put on the website to figure this out. Earl talked about his motor home and the San Carlos trip with Dive Magic on 30-JUL - 08-AUG. There will be an overnight stop in Phoenix. San Carlos in on the Sea of Cortez side. Contact Earl if you'd like to split gas costs and ride in the motor home.

Next months meeting was discussed and... we're going to go diving! Meet on August 10th at Barclay Bay at Lucky Peak (see ddofid / Local Diving Sites / Lucky Peak Res. - East of Boise / for dive info and a map).

A weekend trip was also discussed to Salmon (up around Sunbeam) for river diving. Schedule and specs TBA.

Larry Hill and Wade Pfennig then did a talk on Dive computers and how they work, followed by a show-and-tell segment and any questions about them. The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 pm.
